Kids Safety & Check-In
Here’s what you can expect
All of the Faith Kids Ministry events are located in the Education Building at the front of our property.
Drop Off
Drop-off is in the Education building at the front of the property. Team members will check your family in, give you a pickup slip, and take your child to class. First-time guests are welcome to meet the teacher and see the classroom.
Pick Up
After the service or class, return to the Education Building with your pickup slip to pick up your child. Children will only be released to someone with the matching slip.
Security
For security reasons, only those who are scheduled to work with the children and have a background check on file with us will be allowed past the check-in station.
Safety
- All Volunteers who work with minors are background checked.
- Doors during the services are locked and monitored by staff or our safety team.
- Should a parent need to be present, our volunteers will text you in the service (please keep your phone with you, on silent).
- For the safety of your child, anyone picking up a child is required to show the pick up slip given during the check in process.
Policies
- Parents are asked to drop off and pick up their children in the foyer. A volunteer will escort your child to and from their classrooms. However, our first time guests are welcome to see the classroom and meet their teacher!
- The only doors open before and after each service is the front double door. All other doors remain locked while children are in the building.
- In case of a fire or other emergency, your child will be taken with their class to the fence alongside the Worship Center. Please collect them from their teacher there.
Nursery: 6 weeks through 3 years
Classes are divided in reference to child development, not specifically by age.
- INFANTS – newborns and crawlers
- WALKERS – those steady on their feet
- TODDLERS – typically about 2 and a half years old – 3 years old, are able to sit at the snack table and obey classroom commands.
